Dr. Megan Martorana - Veterinarian

Dr. Megan Martorana moved to Annapolis in 2014, but is originally from Florida and Colorado.

Dr. Martorana received her undergraduate degree from Eckerd College in Marine Sciences, with a concentration in Geology, and a Master's Degree from the University of South Florida in Geochemistry. While completing her Master's Degree, she had two accident-prone dogs that introduced her to the field of veterinary medicine. It was then that Dr. Megan realized her passion for caring for animals and decided to change careers. In 2010, she graduated from the Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine.

One of Dr. Megan's favorite aspects of practicing veterinary medicine is the human-animal bond. She is very excited to be a member of Highway Veterinary Hospital, where preserving this bond and providing excellent health care services for your pets is our highest priority. Other areas of interest for Dr. Megan include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, geriatric medicine, and pain management. You will find Dr. Megan in the surgical and dental suites every Tuesday and Thursday taking care of all of our anesthetic procedures.

When not at work, Dr. Megan can be found gardening, boating, or exploring downtown Annapolis with her husband, Charlie, and their son, Francesco. They share their home with an Australian Shepherd, Daisy, and two cats named McFly and Gemma.
