Dr. Alayna Kinnard - Veterinarian

Dr. Kinnard was born and raised in Maryland. Dr. Kinnard received dual BS degrees in Animal Sciences and Ecological and Evolutionary Biology with a minor in Sustainability from the University of Maryland College Park in 2015.

She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019. After graduating, Dr. Kinnard worked in small animal veterinary medicine, most recently as a lead veterinarian at a local practice. Dr. Kinnard is excited to be part of a team that practices high-quality and personalized veterinary medicine. She is passionate about preventative care and considers puppy and kitten visits one of the best parts of being a vet.

In her free time, Dr. Kinnard enjoys snow skiing, hiking, gardening, and fostering kittens. She also spends time with her husband and daughter. Their other family members include two rambunctious labs, Reagan and Lincoln, and a sweet cat, Squall.
